![]() ![]() When a device takes control of you, clicking on the relay normally gives you a box with a little info but no options - you're completely helpless. * Safeword: Thus button toggles the safeword status beween "On" and "Off" (the default). If you say "Yes", it is given control, if you say "No", it is not. When set in "Ask permission" mode, permission is only automatically granted to objects you own, any other devices asking to use the relay will prompt a dialog box on your screen, where you must grant that device permission to control you. This is dangerous, but of course, that's the whole point, isn't it? ) Nevertheless, some people may only want to be controlled by certain significant others rather than just anyone, so you can switch it from the default auto-accept mode to "Ask permission" instead. ![]() When set to "Auto-accept", any attempts to control you are automatically accepted. * Mode: This button toggles the permissions mode between "Auto-accept" and "Ask permission". Once worn, you can click on the relay to bring up a menu where you can set the permissions mode, enable "safeword" support, or reset the HUD. If you can't see it, go to the menu bar > View > Toolbar to toggle it off, and close your chat bar (press the "Esc" key), then move it up some. On my screen it's still visible even with the toolbar on, but your screen and UI size settings may differ. Be aware that if you position it on the top, you might not be able to read the hovertext that appears when you're being restrained.)
