It's a shame, because the business model could be successful, but they can't execute and they can't attract/retain great talent. The owners will do everything in your power to sabotage you, including calling your new employer to trash you. If you work there and ever leave, you CANNOT tell ANYONE where you are going. But at Domus, that's the way they do business. At real companies, that's called harassment. Someone (a coworker, my boss, a client) make a rude, inappropriate, and/or misogynistic comment to me or one of my colleagues regularly. let's just say "work overtime." And considering the two owners/founders are women, the unprofessional, sexist behavior is simply appalling. My understanding is that they've insinuated to clients that certain young women at the company would be willing to. One of them made an awful, callous remark to a coworker about an urgent and terrifying medial situation that was so appalling, it made me physically ill. The things they have said to their employees are horrifying. These inflated claims are typical of these evil fraudsters, just like their claims of great leads on new business opportunities. There's maybe one party a year and there's typically an open bar, so that's a bonus. Their claims of 'social events' and 'parties'? False. Everyone I know who worked here had a terrible experience.Įven the claim of "51-200 employees" is untrue. I find it hilarious that those reviews take shots at the negative ratings by insinuating those are disgruntled former employees who weren't "team players." There's a reason why the phrase "majority rules" is a thing. It's clear from the positive reviews that management enticed/forced current employees to write them, because that commentary could not be further from the truth. I'm generally not a fan of disparaging people or companies, because I think that's bad karma, but I feel it's my duty to warn anyone considering this company. Ělthough the company is currently primarily remote, we do have fun in-person activities periodically to maintain relationships and build camaraderie Since it’s a smaller business, there is frequent access to leadership, even if in a more junior role Regular, open communication with full team at the agency, including executives. Ěbility to build experience in a variety of areas Many employees have been here for a long time, are deeply involved in the business Many opportunities and pathways to success Ĝollaborative environment among talented, amazing coworkers everyone is willing to pitch a hand and support when needed Which they have done for me and I’m extremely grateful. When you show potential and results, leadership goes above and beyond to feed that potential and provides countless opportunities for continued growth and success. 9 years is a long time to remain at the same agency! At Domus, you are treated like a person, not an employee. My journey began as an intern and have since advanced to a vice president role at the company – that alone says a lot. I've been with Domus for the past 9 years.
